Agency Clinician (LIMHP/Licensed Psychologist/BCBA)
Lincoln and Southeast Nebraska | Full-Time
ABLED is seeking a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), Licensed Psychologist, or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as an Agency Clinician providing consultative behavioral health services.

Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Documentation (Primary Focus)
Conduct in-person evaluations and observations with individuals
Complete comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), and Safety Plans according to DHHS schedules and deadlines
Use ABA principles including function-based assessment and data-informed decision-making
Maintain organized documentation systems with consistent review cycles
Track multiple assessment timelines to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Ensure all clinical work meets DHHS standards and is billable
DHHS Coordination & Compliance
Work closely with DHHS Clinical Team to determine, meet, and document supervision and support requirements for billable Consultative Assessment Services
Attend all required annual and semi-annual meetings prepared with current documentation
Complete exception funding requests with supporting documentation
Crisis Support
Provide on-call crisis support for your assigned caseload, offering de-escalation guidance by phone or in person when necessary
Develop proactive crisis prevention strategies through comprehensive safety planning and staff preparedness
Monitor crisis data to identify patterns and refine prevention strategies
Implementation Support & Training
Train direct support staff on how to implement the behavior support plans and safety plans you've created
Offer follow-up support to ensure consistent implementation across shifts and settings
Required Qualifications
Licensure
Valid license as LIMHP (Nebraska) or Licensed Psychologist, or certification as Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with ability to practice in Nebraska
Essential Skills

Preferred Experience
Experience completing Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Support Plans
Familiarity with fundamentals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Experience working with individuals with I/DD
Crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation skills
Experience training or supervising staff is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary of $84,000 annually, with a compensation review between 3-6 months post-hire based on performance and operational needs
